SYNOPSIS
Something's up with Tony. His mother committed suicide, there are rumors floating around school, and now, he's nowhere to be found! Tasha, his sister, gathers a group of his friends over as they read his journal searching for clues as to what could be bothering him and where he could be. Through a series of small vignettes and a collection of Tony's journal entries, we take a delicate look into mental health as it pertains to Black youth.

A performer first, Lawrence Dandridge has a long list of credits. Most notably: 2nd National of SISTER ACT (TJ). Dandridge has since been writing and directing original works of his own: SOMETHING LIKE A FAIRYTALE, RED!, WHAT COMES NEXT!?, COMING HOMING. Lawrence is one of the resident choreographers with (Vanguard Theater Company) as well as the Founder/Artistic Director of (Aurway Repertory Theatre). A proud native of Newark, NJ.

From the beautiful island of Guam, Heather is a proud graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she earned her BA in Music Theatre. Broadway: Disney’s ALADDIN (U/S Jasmine). Maria is an alumni of the Penn State Musical Theatre program, and has spent the last two years in the Broadway/First National Tour companies of DEAR EVAN HANSEN. Back home in Sarasota, Florida, she has performed with the Sarasota Orchestra in their Concert Series at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Maria is also a singer songwriter and you can find her work on Spotify. Before DEAR EVAN HANSEN, she was seen performing in the workshop for the Broadway revival of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND.

Evan teaches a cappella, runs sound for a cappella groups, and produces content/digital media strategies for bands/ festivals. Awards: “Best Arrangements/Orchestration”, “Best Musical Direction” for A CAPPELLA: THE MUSICAL (NYMF 2015).
