INDIEWORKS GREENLIGHTS ANOTHER SEASON OF BSB
After the great success of season one which spanned the 2020-2021 season and the infamous COVID-19 pandemic, and a full three years after the initial idea for the series, IndieWorks Producing Artistic Director, Christopher Michaels, and Bite-Sized Broadway producers have made the decision to move forward with season two! This season will see some format changes in the program and will be presented in association with Judith Manocherian, LLC. Additionally, IndieWorks will be looking to expand the operation with additional producers and creative team members as well as a reading committee for season selection.
"THE BEE-MAN" PRESENTS TWO READINGS JUNE 27
IndieWorks presents the staged reading of new musical, The Bee-Man, by Kit Goldstein Grant and Neil Radisch. Sophia, a junior sorceress, must find a subject to transform to get her Sorcery Girls merit badge and sets her sights on her eccentric neighbor, the Bee-Man (aptly named as he spends his life in the company of his bees). The only trouble? He's happy the way he is! Sophia sets out on a mission to change that, and to change him, only to find that maybe she is the one who needs to change.
"THE BEE-MAN" FINDS ITS CAST
The staged reading presentation of Kit Goldstein Grant & Neil Radisch's new family musical, The Bee-Man, has found it's cast led by Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld (Pokemón, Polly Pocket), Nathan Nolan Edwards, and Gregory Van Acker, and including Robin Lounsbury, Rebecca Larkin (South Pacific, Avenue Q), Ben Tostado, Nadav Wiesel, Mary Malaney, and Mark Hanke. Christopher Michaels directs, Nick Wilders directs the music, and the company is stage managed by Craig M. Rosenthal. The two reading presentations will be held at Ripley-Grier Studios on Monday, June 27th, 2022.
INDIEWORKS TO PRESENT STAGED READING OF NEW WORK BY KIT GOLDSTEIN GRANT & NEIL RADISCH
Christopher Michaels, Producing Artistic Director, will Executive produce and direct a reading of the new musical, The Bee-Man by longtime collaborator, Kit Goldstein Grant, and Bite-Sized Broadway composer, Neil Radisch who will write the lyrics and the music, respectively, and co-write the book. Judith Manocherian produces the project based on the 135 year old story by Frank Stockton set for two presentations this summer.

We’re so grateful to announce that Bite-Sized Broadway has won THREE Communicator Awards (Best Entertainment Podcast Series, Best Overall Performance, Outstanding Achievement in Remote Production) bringing our total take to TWELVE AWARDS for our inaugural season! We could not have done this without an incredible team of writers, producers, directors, designers, actors, press and support staff! We are truly honored and can't wait to bring the series back for another season!
